About DBLL
Diamondback Little League (DBLL) is a chartered Little League serving your North Phoenix community. Our home fields are located at Echo Mountain Elementary School on the corner of 18th Street and Grovers Avenue, between Bell and Union Hills.
Each year we have over 150 boys and girls who play Little League baseball in several different divisions. TheĀ divisions forĀ age 12 and under are T-ball/Coach Pitch, Farm (machine pitch), Minors (kid pitch), and Majors. We also have Junior and Senior divisions for 13-16 year olds.
DBLL shares the same mission as Little League Baseball: "to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League baseball."
DBLL believes, as does Little League Baseball, that the players will develop "the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being." Little League Baseball places a higher priority on developing superior citizens than it does superior athletes.
DBLL operates two seasons each year -- Spring and Fall.
- Spring season practices and evaluations begin in late January, and games are played through the end of May.
- Fall season is a training and development season geared toward instruction, and the season starts in September and ends in November.
What to bring to practices: Baseball glove, water bottle, baseball helmet (optional), baseball bat (optional).
What to wear: Athletic clothing (baseball pants if possible), cleats or athletic shoes, baseball cap.
